Overview
A fast-paced, single-player shooter where you clear maps, collect loot, and outlast the storm—one wave at a time.
Hero Storm: Save the World was all about giving players a quick, addictive FPS experience on mobile—no internet required, no pay-to-win nonsense, just you, your weapons, and a storm of enemies. When I joined the project, the game had a solid core but needed direction: the visuals were dated, the missions felt repetitive, and the ad experience was rough around the edges. As a Game Designer, I focused on tightening the core loop: making every wave feel challenging, adding new weapons and power-ups, and sprinkling in secret collectibles for the explorers. I worked with the team to overhaul the map progression, introduce boss waves, and make sure every session felt rewarding—even if you only had five minutes to play. We also cleaned up the UI, streamlined the ad flow, and made sure the game ran smooth on even the oldest Android devices. The result? A game that found its audience with players who wanted something simple, fast, and offline-friendly. It’s not flashy, but it’s honest—and sometimes, that’s exactly what mobile needs.
